  • Gingko Leaves
  • A Pair Of Scissors
  • Markers Of Various Colours

Procedure

Step 1: Taking a Leaf From The Garden

Firstly, search for ginkgo leaves in and around your garden.

Step 2: Folding And Cut a Small Portion From The Top

For the second step, fold the leaf and using a pair of scissors cut the top portion of the leaf as shown in the image given below.

Step 3: Drawing The Wings Outline And Body

Next, you are supposed to take a marker of any color you like and then paint the outline of the wings as well as the body of the butterfly.

Step 4: Painting The Wings

Now, you are supposed to paint the insides of the wing’s design.

Step 5: Painting The Area Around The Wings With Different Colours

Here, let your creativity run free and wild, use various colors to paint and create various designs around the wings outline area.

Step 6: Creating Lines On The Body Design

Now, take the marker of a lighter shade and create lines on the body design using that marker.

Step 7: Completing The Design And Colour The Leaf Petiole

Now, you are supposed to complete the finishing touches of the design and once you are done, paint the petiole with black color and carefully cut it using a pair of scissors.

Step 8: Similarly, Creating Another Butterfly!

Similarly, create another butterfly for your garden using the shade you like. Here, we have used pink, yellow, black, and white combinations.

Step 9: Adding More Butterflies By Using Various Butterflies With Different Colours

Keep adding more and more butterflies to your garden and experiment with various colors, shades, and patterns!
