Materials Required

  • Egg Carton
  • Acrylic Paint (orange, red &blue colors),
  • Brush
  • Glue
  • Whiteboard
  • Scissors
  • Black & Green Sketch
  • Doll Eyes
  • Pale Color Clay

Procedure

Step 1: Making Snail’s Shell Using an Egg Carton

To make this craft, first, you have to cut the whiteboard into a round shape and then cut the egg carton, take three pieces of egg holder and cut all the corners to make it perfect and then start to paint it with red color at the back side of the egg holder and give some time for it to dry.

Step 2: Decorating the Snail’s Shell Using the Black Sketch

After the paint dries, use your sketch to decorate the snail’s shell. Start to draw a spiral in the middle of the egg holder.

Step 3: Completing the Shell Decoration

Complete the spiral drawing and let it dry.

Step 4: Pasting the Prepared Shell on the Whiteboard

After it is completely dry, apply some glue at the edge of the shell and paste it on top of the whiteboard.

Step 5: Making Other Shells and Paste them on the Whiteboard

Take another piece of egg holder and paint it with orange color acrylic paint, draw a spiral on it too, apply some glue at the edge, and paste it on the left side of the whiteboard.

Step 6: Making a Blue Color Shell

Also, paint blue color on another egg holder, draw a spiral on it, and paste it on the right side of the board take a piece of clay, then split it into three pieces.

Step 7: Making a Snail’s Body Using Clay

Take one piece of clay and make it like a snail’s body and paste it under the red shell that we pasted at the top of the whiteboard.

Step 8: Pasting Clay Under all the Shells

Paste another two pieces of clay under the remaining shells.

Step 9: Drawing Antennas for Snails

Draw two curvy lines at the top of every clay (which we pasted for the snail’s body) with the use of your black sketch.

Step 10: Pasting Eyes for Snail

Take six doll eyes and paste them at the top of each antenna as shown in the image.

Step 11: Drawing a Snail’s Mouth

Draw the mouth for all snails using the black sketch.

Step 12: Drawing Grasses

Randomly draw some grasses using green sketches under all the snails.

Finally, Egg Carton Snails Craft is Ready!!
