Materials Required

  • Papers Of Various Colours
  • Glue Stick Or Any Other Adhesive
  • A Pair Of Scissors
  • Markers Of Various Colours
  • A White Coloured Sheet Of Paper

Procedure

Step 1: Take a Piece Of Paper And Give It a Fold

Firstly, take a piece of paper and cut it using a pair of scissors, you can use any colour, here we have taken green. Then, give a fold to the paper as shown.

Step 2: Fold It Again

now, you are supposed to flip the whole paper to the other side and give another small fold to the paper. Continue this step until you reach the other end of the paper by this process of folding.

Step 3: Open The Folds

Once, you are done with folding, open the whole design of folds as shown in the image below.

Step 4: Fold The Whole Design From The Middle

Now, fold the design from the middle portion and press the design so formed.

Step 5: Secure The Mid Portion Using The Adhesive

Now, you are supposed to secure the middle portion by sticking it using a glue stick or any other adhesive.

Step 6: Take The Paper And Draw Umbrella Handles

In this step, you are supposed to take a white coloured sheet of paper and using the marker, you have to create shapes identical to the umbrella handles.

Step 7: Paste The Cutout Using Adhesive

Now, take the cutout you prepared before and then, using the adhesive, paste it on the white-coloured sheet of paper. Make sure it is placed right above the umbrella handle design you made in the previous step.

Step 8: Create More And More Handles On The Paper

Again, take the marker and create as many umbrellas handle as you want !!

Step 9: Paste More And More Cutouts!

Now, add more and more cutouts and stick them just above the handles using the adhesive.

Step 10: Draw Droplets Using Different Colours

Here, to give the whole drawing a vibrant and wholesome touch, create droplets of various colours using the markers.

And Your Monsoon Craft Is Done !!!
